Terms of use

Early-access service

PowerDeck is an early-access browser editor for self-contained HTML slide decks. Access may be enabled, limited or withdrawn while the product is being tested.

Your files and responsibility

Your deck stays on your computer. Keep your own backup before editing and only open or preview files you trust. Preview can run a deck’s own scripts and make internet requests.

Acceptable use

Do not use PowerDeck to break the law, harm another person, probe or bypass access controls, overload the service, or handle material you do not have the right to use.

No cloud file service

PowerDeck does not upload, store, sync or recover decks. Saving may update the opened file in Chrome or Edge; other browsers may download an edited copy.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided as available during the alpha. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every HTML deck can be edited safely. If an edit cannot be made safely, PowerDeck is designed to leave that part alone.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PowerDeck is not liable for indirect loss, lost opportunity or loss caused by a deck, browser, device or third-party service. Rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law remain in place.
